This is a fascinating shot, full of atmosphere and life, and taken at a creative angle. The fungi are beautifully depicted and the colours are excellent. Personally I would like to have seen the background at the top, just right of middle, with fewer spots of bright light, as these distract a little from the deeper and more subtle colours of the main subjects, but this is nevertheless very good indeed. If it comes up in the voting booth for me, it's going to get high marks.

Beautifully presented! If the summer was dry, the mushrooms certainly did not suffer, as they are nice and rich looking. Wonderful work!

I didn't know that mushrooms turned toward the sun. This is a very interesting shot. I like the sunlight shining off of them and the dof. Great shot.

I think this is practically perfect.. although i agree bright spots are a little distracting here.
