I like this a lot. Love the framing and the nice contrasts between the black and white. IMO The bushes on the right doesn't help much...Looks like he has a twig growing out of his ear. I would like to see more contrast between him and the background (but that's just me.) Also....If your subject is moving....give him room to move...leave space in front of him to give the viewer and idea of where he might be going. (Not sure that applies here.)
But over all it's areat take and a wonderful presentation. Looks great on my DT any day. doing a ownderful job and keep up the great work.

Beautiful frame for Mr Majestic Emmie.. your composition is nice also.. his color is a bit washed out though.. might try a wee bit of contrast and see if that darkens his stripes or go to Hue and Saturation and play with colors .wonderful image you posted for us.. keep up the good work..=D

I think you did a very good job, however I do agree that more contrast would be nice and the twigs around his face are somewhat distracting.

I think it is real good for the theme you were after Emmie. B/W or W/B gets it up close and real personal. The twigs don't bother me that much because I feel you interrupted his lunch. Sometimes they just don't stand where you want them to.

You could clone out the branches and then see what you think. After all, you are the final judge of your work. Trust yourself and your instincts in photography. Learn the basics and then create your own style.

Very nice to meet you.
