I took a stroll through the park today to see what winter wonders I could find. Most of the shots I took today didn't turn out as well as expected. So I'll have to make a return trip sometime soon before the snow gets too deep or the paths too iced up. This photo is the lower set of falls all iced up. Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Firstly, nice picture. Wendell, when viewing in the bigger format, the platform to the left is distracting and it grabs all the attention. If the falls were not frozen, then the effect would likely be different. Just a thought. Please make more trips so that can share these beauties. What park is this?

Wendell - Seeing the fully frozen falls is quite something. JP has a point about the left side of the photo. If the snow on the roof and walk was less luminescent, it would bring focus back to the falls with its fascinating undulations. Thad

Wow what a great shot this is. I am surprised that timber work is still standing you would think it would be washed away. This is a 100%

I like the entire shot Wendell. It is beautiful and I think the deck adds to the overall photo. The temp must be dreadful to freeze like this.

Great shot, Wendell! I really like how you shot this, the content and the detail are really nice. Plus, being a southern guy, I have never seen a frozen waterfall before. Man I would love to be there. Thanks for sharing.

Wow... I too, am amazed at how a waterfall can freeze up like that! I really like the natural framing provided by the trees! The walk near the top looks like it's about to collapse! Wonderful, rustic composition with great clarity and colours, Wendell!

What a spectacular place for a fun walk. Gorgeous capture & I love waterfalls. We had one on our land in Ohio and it looked something like that in the winter, but not as high

Wow, how amazing that moving water can stop and be frozen! And you took a great photo here too. You really did great. I love the way the rocks looks with the falls and trees. Verena
