According to my fractured research these moths are Schinia florida, or more commonly known as evening primrose moths. And I'll keep believing that until told otherwise. The flower on the other hand is not a primrose, nor was it evening when the photo was taken. So something funny is going on here. Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell - It looks like these moths are laying low. With the water droplets, the shot looks cool. Thad

This impressed me very much in the VB Wendell.
Beautiful colours and detail and a great find seeing two moths side by side.
They look very comfortable on their pretty perch

Pretty color combination. Can anyone beat Mother Nature for color combos? (smile) Subject is very interesting and pleasant. The light and perspective of the shot is perfect!

Wendell...with such an array of pastels, this definitely is a screen saver. I agree with Thad that these guys look like they're waiting for the rain to abate. Glorious colors, outstanding clarity and focus, spectacular detail with the water droplets hanging there, and a mysterious dark background make this a wonderful posting and today's screen saver.

I like it, it kinda does look like a very wet rose and I have never seen moths that color. Nice and sharp image. Awesome!!

WOw Wen! I'm proud of you! You actually found moths! Ya know, last time you took a picture of 'moths' they were really butterflys.. Well I guess it's all trial and error huh? Good job friend!

Striking closeup of the moths and blossom, Wendell! I love how you can see the lighting in the water droplets and the bokeh in the background! Crisp details and colours too. Excellent work!
