So I finally got around to doing a load of laundry. Forgive me for airing it in public, but at least it's not dirty...well mostly clean. Does anyone know how to get embarrassment out of a pair of jeans?

A companion piece of sorts to I've Been Robbed. Turn 180° from that scene and you would have seen these clouds hanging in the sky. Shot on the same day and if the exif data is to be believed about 15 minutes after the previous shot. I must have been taking a long break from work to fiddle with the camera for that length of time at that time of day. Some minor cropping occurred and an attempt was made to reduce any noise present; and then because I had nothing better to do some sharpening may have taken place. The lighting was definitely manipulated, two different ways. But it still doesn't look like it did the day I stood there, or maybe I was kneeling or sitting on a stump.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I really like the look of that sky - even if it really didn't look like that!

You add extra softener to the detergent Wendell. There was a sky like that around here a couple of years ago and I chased it all over God's green earth trying to get a good shot.
I feel like there are beavers everywhere working on this dam.
I like the darker tones to this.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.

Whoa, I absolutely love that sky and the way the textures of the wood are pointing to the sky.

I've shot clouds for many years, and never seen anything even close to resembling this wierd layering. Foreground again is very useful and interesting.

Very funny, Wendell. It's clear to me that this was shot in the Himalayas. I recognize K2 in the background disguised as clouds.

I love the undulating clouds and tree wreckage in the bottom. Very moody!

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

It almost looks like there was a snow storm, but somehow, the snow was unable to fall to the ground. Someone testing a weather control force field of some kind? A unique shot. I like it.

perfect spacial arrangement, dearth of certain colors in the right (and wrong places- which makes the capture interesting to look at and take in). the scenery up close comes in front of the clouds, entirely masking the sky, and the trees are a great back drop in the right proportion to draw your eye away

how can one use letters, words or prose against its own institution? is it not to say that this accepted alphabet can portray intolerable thoughts against itself; the reflection of these words represent the meaning of ones mindless inquiry, generalizing became this text. . .read the marks behind a letter of assurance/ freedom is jailed within. . ." _ EaB
