Somewhere deep within the bowels of the park you'll come across this scene. If you're coming from the other direction you'll have to turn around to see it. The path is often deeply shadowed and lonely. Giving you plenty of time to take all the photos you want without someone walking into the scene and striking a bold pose. I just wish they had read the memo the day I shot this, because I was interrupted at least twice.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

It takes a lot of intestinal fortitude to roam through the bowels of most parks Wendell. Unless of course you are a GI, then you zip right through them.
I like the lights and shadows especially in this one.
Very good shot.

Some people! I mean really! Just tell them that they will be cloned! That should make them scurry off. Love the shadows and light crossing this nice trail. A fine shot!

I think im having amnesia and deja vu at the same time - I think I have forgotten this before.

A lovely composition and perspective although i find the all the contrast between shadow and light a bit overwhelming. However, it is very early in the morning for me and i still have all the curtains closed so it could be that!

You did a fine job here capturing this peaceful scene. I really like the shadows and the light I feel it adds drama to the shot.

This would be a good entry in the new contest "Light and Dark". Oh, the new contest is called "Fluid"? What idiot came up with that?

I don't see any under or overexposure which would have been an impossibility if I had shot this. Either you're finally getting used to your camera or you love post photo work. I don't see your signature bench in the shot, and I would have cloned out that one branch on the right.

A tip that might come in handy in the future. When I'm heading to a location where I think strollers might step into my shots, I wear my trench coast with nothing under it. Amazingly they typically walk very quickly back from whence they came.

This turned out so well. I like the color of the trees and the pattern of shadows on the trail and that wooden structure in the distance. The perspective on this is spot on. A fine shot! Faved.

I too like the light and shadow patterns in this - I am so conscious of walking into people's shots if I'm in a crowded situation where photographers are likely to be but alas I'm not shown the same courtesy too often.

A very inviting scene. I love the dappled shadows and air of enclosure.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
