Choke Cherry Lane refers to the road leading into this place and not the place itself. The place itself is your basic in the middle of nowhere type of places you run into all over the place. Which leaves you wondering if you are in the middle of nowhere no matter where you are. The road which I'm sure started out as an short lane leading into the woods has since seen fit to stretch itself out to ridiculous lengths and branches. It is also every bit as smooth as this patch of open forest along certain stretches. Anyways, I was once here and hope I never find myself back. I enjoyed the views but not the stay.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I like the Panoramic view, as it Adds much in Terms of Drama... that Sky and the Sticks would be Squandered in Any other Format! Excellent contrasts throughout... a Very fine Image!

It looks like the Tasmanian Devil has thrown a fit on this spot, Wendell. B/W suit it well.
Could be the outskirts of the middle of nowhere. We need a surveyor to let us know.

Does this lead to a haunted "Choke Cherry Forest", "Choke Cherry Farm", "Choke Cherry Mine", "Choke Cherry Mansion", "Choke Cherry Sanitarium", or "Choke Cherry Cemetery"(?)

...Maybe "all of the above" :O

Just askin'...

Nice one...Faved...

This really gives a feeling of desolation. The sky is fabulous and adds to the slightly menacing atmosphere. Fine work Wendell.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

That sky is killer Wendell - there appears to be menace lurking along this path.

A rather intense view here my Friend and the B/W adds to the dramatic quality of the scene.

Wendell - I think we've all found ourselves in no where at one time or another. You had the good fortune of having your camera at the ready. Thad
