I bet Rogdot, will get your motor running again! Lol! Wendell, this is one heck of a motion capture, I bet we will see in the contest, I hope so! Tigs♥ =^..^=
An awesome shot Wendell! I love the streaks of light! This is a perfect entry. Best of luck to you my friend! Don't worry, considering your sense of humor, you'll have plenty to say in your next post. Sometimes I get a little short on words for narratives too.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
It's too dark, and what are those stupid looking white and red lines?
Seriously nice shot, Wendell. I'll assume that this was a hand held shot as your nickname is the Rock of Gibraltar. Actually here on Caedes you're known as that *^#@'ing #!%?&, but that's neither here nor there. However, I would say that everything else being equal, it is slightly more here than there although I would listen to arguments to the contrary.
I for one am sorry that you have run out of things to say. My years of experience and wisdom have indicated that words are like a heartbeat. In a given lifetime, there are only so many heartbeats. If you exercise a lot and have an accelerated heart ratet, you will die sooner than someone who sits on the couch and watches TV every day. As homo sapiens are just members of the animal kingdom, we are just like birds and reptiles. A tortoise has a slow heartbeat and can lives to be 150. Hummingbirds are usually around for a few years.
Words are the same. I knew this would happen because your narratives are so verbose. I told you and I warned you, but would you listen? Nope. And now you're paying the ultimate price. You are speechless. There's really only one thing that you can do now. Well, maybe two. One: Remain speechless. Two: Go online to Words4U.com. Right now they have a sale going on. One ear hair for 100 words. They also take kidneys and other organs for authors working on large books.
Lovely freeze shot and love the lines of colour, plus for a night time shot you have the main part of this subject focused just right. Also love the light and how it creates other colours and how the lights bounces of of the road and adds that extra light.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Congratulations on your high placement in the contest. Someone could read a lot into shot like this. It might record the dark, alienated, mean streets where no one stops except for our electronic overlords, the stoplights. Except for the brief, but oh so tedious delay, we're off again. Hopefully, no wiser about what's going on in the vehicles around us. The lean amount of information we're given as viewers actually help the picture and force us to add context from our imaginations. That's what a good story does for you. Or do we just like long exposure photographs?

Don't know how I missed this one Wendell. I'm speechless. I think you got your second wind. Excellent long exposure which might explain you loss of words.
