Someone has to look after the children and who better than someone who is good with kids. I tried applying for the job but was rejected. Something about being unqualified for the job, but I think it might have been the steak knives I was carrying. I tried explaining that I was holding them for a friend who juggles as a hobby.

Enjoy and your comments (and character references) welcomed.

The Nanny is keeping her eye on you. Such sweet little fellows and too bad you didn't get the job, lol. So did you chance passing the boss of the herd? Fantastic capture and rich colours and detail

The nanny went to work for a herd of goats.
I think this job is still open Wendell.
Animals are afraid of point and shoot cameras.
You did good.

We call those that wish to 'look after cattle..'Cow Nurses'!

You applying for that title then!...

Now...a good steak needs a good 'dollop' of good old Horse Radish Sauce

(Hope the link works...It's a while since I remembered how to do it!..lol)

I enjoyed your comical narrative almost as much as I am enjoying the photo. It is a lovely rustic capture with great colour.

I am reminded of Johnny Cash's "Don't Take Your Guns To Town" - in this case your knives :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Wonderful narrative as usual - you have a gift - and a nice rustic scene.
