There's no sense in clearing the snow from the bench as more of it will only fall from the branches above. This I found out the hard way. So a wet head goes great with the soggy bottom you get from sitting here.

The sunlight just beginning to peek through gives it some nice drama. I would say sitting on that bench would probably give you a good dose of snow fall.

This calls for a tune from The Soggy Botttom Boys, "I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow"...on the other hand, that nice bit of lighting through the trees does provide a bit of relief and a ray of hope...lovely shot, Wendell.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Wow great looking photo and I love the light and shade in this photo and how you captured the sun on the side of the bench area.Great detail lovely depth of field and the feeling of a large lonely area in this superb looking photo.

So we have here a nicely sunlit bench which is regretfully damp and likely to make your bottom soggy or you can choose our friends benches that he just passed so they would be almost like new ... Assuming that their location is dry that is.
