A re-shoot of sorts of this earlier scene. Seeing as I was in the area and was packing a camera why not take a shot and see what happens. Unfortunately I was unable to track down the couple from the other shot and no other strangers stepped forward to take their place. That's one of the downsides of strangers; you can't rely on them to be there for you when you need them the most. It's as if they live their own lives.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

The overview/perspective is outstanding! Beautiful shot Wendell, that must be some hiking area, looks pretty darn steep, and so beautiful. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Yes. I second everything that's been said. The lighting and clarity, not to mention the composition, are way-cool exquisite... especially the lighting... But I do know what you mean about strangers, unreliable riffraff I calls them.

Love the overhead perspective in this photo Wendell. That light on the brook, as others have pointed out, is perfect and the snow covered branches on the left are very effective. Bravo.

Like a "bad penny," you keep returning Wendell, but you get great shots, so the tradeoff is worth it.

What it is , is powerful. The mass of trees that appear to dominate everything, yet hundreds of feet below, a section of walkway bridging a stream claims command.Stunning shot, Wendell.
