A practice piece if you'd like for the lack of anything better to post. A merger of two photos shot several years ago. It took me a while to remember the steps necessary to create the image. I almost had to resort to looking up the process on the internet. In retrospect I should have allowed more separation between the two lead horses. But I had money riding on the second horse winning the race so I closed the distance for it.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell - So, which horse did win? Nice composite work. Was the flying snow your addition also? Thad

Whatever you did with this one, I really like the results, they look good running against the snow, and there is a good depth in this one. tigs=^..^=

This looks great with the snow falling. I love the horses, and I would have put all my money on the one in the middle. He just looks like a comeback winner to me. Beautiful winter shot, Wendell.

The winner gets control of the "one horse town," Wendell.
The other two teach merging classes.
Good winter, rural scene.

It works for me!....Sorry to say that the last horse won but a nose!...

I like the positioning between the two posts in the foreground!

Well say you did a great job Wendell and this is a lovely winter scene with stunning light and nice detail especially in the snow and I like the sunlight that is playing over the horse to plus great depth of field too. The trees and out building add a lovely feel to this capture as well .

I like the merger you created Wendell - looks like it could be the Clydesdales from a well known beer commercial.

You did a great job with the blending of two images Wendell. It is seamless and natural. You made it very believable in all aspects. I have worked with Photoshop since Photoshop6 and this is good.
