What a nice boy!He would have to wait still some time before any girl comes his way... Unless you start feeding them, but most probably you are far too busy organising all the rehearsals, concerts and searching replacements to think about poor duckies, sitting or flying ... Seriously or half-seriously now, very nice composition & most lovable blue snow, my favourite shade of white.:) SAM & SAAB
I think he looks please that you took his picture. This is well composed, the way he is looking into the scene. I much rather seem him like this over being a roasted duck. :) tigs=^..^=

His feet are probably frozen in the snow and can't move. Excellent shot of the handsome duck. I love the golden pond grasses in the shot too. Well done.
Actually his webbed feet are warmer in the snow than exposed to the frigid temps but then again maybe he just wanted his picture on The Duck Times Weekly! Good one Wendell.
You sure it bum is not frozen to the ground Wendell lol. This is a photo you must enlage to get the detail in this mallard showing of it's mating colours and love the colours in this shot and the reeds in the background too.
