I woke up early this morning because waiting for the alarm to go off made way too much sense and turning over and falling back to sleep just wasn't going to happen. So still half aware of my surroundings I wandered out to the shed to get my work gear ready for the day. Returning to the house I finally clued in that there was an early morning caller waiting out on the lawn, and they weren't there to deliver a newspaper or the milk. A quick trip was made into the house to grab the camera, and a second trip to get the lens. After some photos were taken I was forced to ask the guest to leave the premises. After all I'm not zoned for farmland and couldn't afford to have the taxman find out I was raising livestock.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Oh how nice to wake up and fine this beautiful deer on your lawn Wendell - Great Capture - you should consider keeping him as he could graze on you lawn which would keep your mowing chores to a minimum lol:-):-):-)

Oh "dear" - what a great shot. The vignetting also works well with this photo. Well done, Wendell.

Wait till those antlers grow Wendell. Then he will make a forced entry into your premises. Nice and clear shot of your uninvited guest.

You are lucky you get a visitor like that. I only get sparrows and spiders. Nice crystal clear shot of the deer, and I love the way he has just made his home on your lawn. You should have invited him in for coffee!

Excellent image all the way around Wendell - lighting detail and vignette all make for a welcome sight for us anyway.
