This old pine tree is huge, measuring 15 ft or more in circumference, dwarfing many of the surrounding trees in girth and height. I would have needed to clear the surrounding vegetation back a good 50 ft to get the whole tree in one photo.

I see a lot of what I assume are woodpecker holes in that old tree - I never knew pines to get this big.
