If you're brave enough to set foot up a mountain at 11½ thousand feet up, then the least I can do is congratulate you for sharing your pictures. You found some lovely blooms, although I hope you also took lots of pictures, with views from the mountain, that included the flower, to give it a sense of perspetive (such as your Skunk cabbage picture). If you hadn't had said you were so high up, I might have assumed that these were grown on a window box, no higher than the kitchen sink.

Yes, I got plenty of view photos (and some nice ones of alpine forget-me-not), but alas I have to jump through too many hoops to post more pictures more often.
