I've been a bit away from Caedes but I'm back with a serie of shots from a factory that was abandoned for more than 30 years. It was a big factory that produced picked fish, one of the most important portuguese industries till the middle of the 20th Century.

This image has a lot of potential. I like the receding angles and the repeating patterns. I'd like to see it in black and white though, because I think the shapes are more important than the colors here. Nice find.

Good to have you back, Manuel! I like the way the windows and the posts compliment each other shape wise.

Goodun Manuel...I used to got to a bar when I was younger and there were a lot of pickled fish there. That's an important industry here too...they buy a laaawwwt of beer.

Lol @ Mr Digi! I think Regmar's suggestion about making this B&W is a good one. It's the shapes and the light that really draw me in to this image. It's a little bit spooky too.

nice to see you posting again Manuel! very different from what you normally post but it is good to post the good the bad and the ugly. This one is ugly, but the perspective is excellent with the lines, the textures are interesting and the light and shadows are good too! In fact, it is an excellent shot! well done!
