Dan, forgive me, I am part of the ageing of American. Your Wooden Boat reminded me of CSNY's Wooden Ships,
"Wooden ships on the water, very free and easy, Easy, you know the way it's supposed to be, Silver people on the shoreline, let us be, Talkin' 'bout very free and easy..."
Thanks for that memory. Your ship is free and easy and quite used. lol.
Capt. Jerry, Ensign Tom and Lt. Dan. Now that is quite a crew. Watch out shrimp--here they come. I do like the angle you chose and the white washing job. Cool post.
It has seen some action perhaps running from the Gulf patrol . I am thinking the paint jobs keeps it afloat. I like the older boats like this they seem to have more character . I'd say this ones had character aboard as well. Cool shot great lighting. Did you take it for a spin or was the anti theft to much . Well done.
Boy that boat could tell you some great stories. I really like the detail & textures, also that wheel lock, reminds me of the old way to lock the steering wheel of a car
