Excellent shooting, Dan!! That's a Great window treatment, and That hook is a Fine enhancement to your Monochomastic creation! Just out of Curiosity, Whose house did you Break into for this Shot?!?!?
I like this Dan, at first I was not sure what it was that kept me going back and forth from the door to the window, looking at this again this morning I think it is the shaded area between the door and the window that almost gives me the feeling of two separate and very nice images in the one composition. In addition to that the detail and tone in the door and the light from the window really in my opinion gives your image a captivating look. A fine job Dan and good luck with this one.
Cool shot Sir Fifth. An almost surrreal view with the angle and B/W tones. I think this creates a question about the stained glass. One is forced to think and ponder and what-not.....
Interesting...the fact that you shot what appears to be a lovely stained glass window in black and white. lol Nice lines and good lighting, thanks to that lovely window.
I find this quite a haunting image - the slight sepia tint gives it an aged and mellow look. I see a lot in this that isn't there but is suggested. Super addition to the Challenge Dan.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
