I've been playing with symmetry over the last week and set to work on this a couple of days ago. It is two Apophysis renders with some very selective hue and saturation in CS2. Thanks for looking and commenting. -mike-
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOMEPAGE
Thank you all so much. I'm thrilled that I am able to even post along with you guys. You all do so much fine work and yet encourage us that are novice. Thanks again. -mike-
this is gorgeous Flim!
i love the tweakin of the gradients!!
you really nailed the symmetry, too!
and having had several spinals-
this is quite apropos!
Yeah ... this is the proverbial one, as they say ... that jumped out at me when touring your galleries.
Really liking the dimensionality you achieved with your flame here.
If I may be so bold, and as a suggestion for next time ... go here to have a look at an adjustment that might further enhance the aspect of depth and bring out some more highlights of your flame.
I love it and am obviously a proponent of the technique.
It does work well with abstracts too. Just don't accept the default settings on the "Shadow/Highlights" step. Play around a bit ... you might be surprised at the results.
Great design and concept.
Very nice work here ... and but of course, thank you for sharing. :o)
