Another shot from my hike in the Twenty Lakes Basin area of the Hoover Wilderness a few weeks back. My other picture from this hike was of Shamrock Lake. This picture is looking from near my tent southwest towards North Point peak in the distance. The tent in view was my daughters. This was taken early in the morning of July 29th and I was so thankful the smoke had cleared for the morning to get this clear shot. By the time we hiked over nearer to the peak the smoke from the Ferguson fire had come in again but not to bad. I took this shot from the north end of Lake Helen right before the creek that runs alongside our campsite trails off into Lundy canyon creating the Lundy Canyon Falls. I added a new sky which is not perfect but it is what it is:) The coordinates for this peak is XMJP+V5 Lundy, California. This is a new type of code from Google maps for finding location. If you really want to see a sight go to Google maps here: (North Point) and you'll be able to view the Twenty Lakes Basin area from atop of North Point which we did NOT go to:) It's spectacular:):) If you look at the panorama there you'll see Mt. Conness just south of North Peak. Enjoy if you can:):)
By saying: " Enjoy if you can", I recognize some doubts about the quality of your image. This 'fear' is completely unnecessary because I enjoy - and probably the other Caedes-friends as well - this breathtaking (not literally meant because of the smoke there, ☺) capture, Buddy!
