Found this pile of cut down trees along the Pacific Crest Trail near the Sonora Pass 3 weeks ago while on a short hike. I Love the patterns and details in this so I'm here sharing it:) Enjoy if you can once again and thanks for your comments.

This appeals to me Bruce...
There have been times when I come across 'dead-woods' like this and spent an hour or two just taking close-up and macro shots...It is surprising just how many (and different) types of pictures come out.
