I decided to do a series of planets sitting on a plain black background. This is the second in the series (the first was Io) --the satellite images are so clear that it seems like the planet is just sitting on your computer screen, which is what I love about them. This is a false color image of Venus from NASA's multimedia gallery (I usually use the Visible Earth site so the credits weren't as easy to find). Credit: NASA

It's striking! I like the colors ("false" or not) because it makes both an interesting and non-glaring wallpaper.

This deserves high marks! Venus has alot of charm, no matter what her color. Nice muliti-colors. Perfect on the black background. Looks very good as wallpaper. You've done a fine job with this planet :*)
