Here's another one from Death Valley, this time taken not too far from Devil's Golf Course. Once again edited with crappy Microsoft Picture Editing software, so pardon the mistakes.

Great photo. Is that Telescope Peak? It's crazy to realize that mountain shoots up like 11,000 ft straight up out of the lowest point in North America. I just got back from my first trip to Death Valley last week and had a blast.
Also, I recommend trying out GIMP. It's free and has basically the same functionality of Adobe PS only a couple generations ago. Not completely up to date on technology, but very usable. Here's a link. http://www.gimp.org/
