The darkness decends from Mt. Thunder. Lord Fouls final assault on the Land, has begun.
A depiction from one of the best Trilogys I've ever read. "The Chronicals of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever."
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people.

If your going for "desolation" with this render ... Boy did you hit the bulls-eye. The book is foreign to me ... But should that "final assault" involve paratroopers that terrain is gonna hurt ... OUCH! Good job.

Ah, yes I have read the first book of this trilogy, it is very good. Now about the picture, the volcano is very cool, but overall it is a bit too dark for my tastes.
One word, cool! Really like that steam coming off the volcano in the background. The terrain is just perfect. And the sky just sets the image. Well done Greg!
