The Bird flying in was a bit of pure luck! I was actually hoping to see a "Green Flash", but...not on this shot. The coloring is all natural from the actual picture. I will admit though....I used a filter called "Flood" By Flaming Pear, to completely change the water. Thanks for taking the time to look. :-)

I was enjoying and admiring this photo for a while . . . and THEN I saw your feathered friend! As that old adage says: "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity."

Fantastic, Greg! I've used Flood before -- it's great in certain situations, and this is certainly one of them. The colors, the sun, and the cloud cover in this shot are all spectacular.

What a fabulous sunset and what an honest man! I am impressed with both. That is just one incredible set of suset colors and the bird is an extra. Now I have to check out this filter you are talking about.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Goosh that's an awfully pretty shot Greg, the lighting may be slightly off but do people care ? I don't think so. Splendid upload dear boy.

I'm not a great fan of sunsets but the composition in this is very impressive. It really draws attention to the space between the horizon and the cloud line in the top of the picture, with the bird positioned perfectly. A very nice shot.
