Good, I'm glad you thought the color to be disturbing! Black & white is good, but everyone does black & white...someones gotta do something different ;) , and by making it a bright unordinary color it gives the work a totally different meaning. And another reason, well I'm a huge color fanatic. I always do stuff in bright expressionists colors, its a subconscious habit.

I like the different contours in this image. I think that the color is very appropriate for the expression on your face. I like the contrasts and the expressionism youve shown here. I can see how some people may not be sure about it, but I think some people are too used to looking for pictures of waterfalls and flowers. This I think is less a photograph and more art. Good work weiner.

You definitely have the, "I am woman" thing going on here. Interesting. Blue is a color often associated with the feminine. Did you do that intentionally? Green is another one. I like it.

i really like the blue in this. it brings out the darker spots, like the eyeliner and freckles; thing you may not necessarily pay attention to. the eyes are very powerful. it looks like they are fixated on something ready to attack. very good. i like it a lot!

Very interesting, as Pierre said, I believe the blue is a bit disturbing. But agree with you that undersaturated images are typically more popular and the neon blue effect with edge highlights is what "makes" this image. Kind of looks like a sci fi movie where the girl in it is running from danger. Although the wood texture is a bit distracting from the theme, places you back into reality. I think if you used some burning in photoshop to completely blacken this out it would make the image more artistic, or if the photo were taken in front of something more grim like concrete or fencing it would add to the surrealism.

C-Dogg....I was looking through these people shots and I was VERY pleased at the immediate sight of this pic. I think the expression on your face is key in working with the blue color you chose. The composition is great. The over-all feeling I got from this piece was a true indicator that it is magnificent, not many artworks do that for me! Keep it up.
