This is from the second set of parameters from the Apop Challenge. This was a very hard flame to work with color wise due to the linear on triangle one. I don't generally work with linear flames and have it unticked in my random batch files. I only use it for spirals as it isn't very versatile. I did duplicate transform 2 several times and did some rotation and flipping. I added a bit of Julian to the linear to try to bring up some detail.I used a red gold gradient that I have in my files. This bugger took 18 hours and I am quite done with it! For your approval, here it is!

Uhm ... does this mean that you enjoyed this pesky one?

Kidding, of course. :o)

Another visual delight of a flame Frankie. Really liking what 'Julian' brought to the posting table for your piece here.

Great lines, clean render ... very nice details ... perfect. Well done, again.

Thanks for sharing your expertise with us as well. The proverbial icing on the cake. Much appreciated. :o)

All of a sudden I got this image in my brain of all the fractals on here made up into cloth and sewn into a huge quilt!! What a cover that would make...another great one from the experts!!

Another beautiful and intricate flame, Frankie. I really like the embossed look to this. I too, had a bit of difficulty with the second set of parameters, and was tempted on a couple of occasions to alter the variations..lol 18 hours..wow! Very well done! :)

Rather red for my own tastes, but beautifully done nonetheless. The red and gold makes this incredibly rich-looking - a hint of ancient/mythical kings and queens perhaps.
