In this photo, "Mother" refers to Mother Nature, not the swan, and the way the dwindling sun softly strokes her face as she hovers near her young ones.

so cute! just look at the little spiky feathers on the babies head in the front - the detail is very good Chris! I really like these photographs taken through the grasses in the foreground! It's a really beautiful image! I managed to capture a pair of black swans in St James Park yesterday! If they are good enough, I might post them later. :)
