...is in such short supply in today's fast paced world. The most important thing I did this weekend was share this sunset with my son. Such a wonderful sunset and a great memory!

Nice shot. The timing is perfect with the sun just touching the horizon. Good job!

Beautiful job on this one too, Chris. Did you use the timer? I can see the dock more closely in this one. Great silhouetting. All we really have is the moment. So you are right about making the quality of each one the best it can be.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

How right you are about the flying of time. And sons are the priority, them AND gorgeous sunsets such as this one. :0) Lovely post. ~Mary~

Cindy...we did use the timer....10 second delay. We planned this shot together as a souvneneir for my wife, who was out of town and wasn't able to go camping with us...

How precious is that! Your wife will love it! I might be inclined to crop the right slightly Chris so you are offcentre slightly, but a beautiful photograph nevertheless!

Well done and the execution is perfect. I'd leave it the way it is, but I guess Patti and I agree to disagree on that minor point. What a great memory to have down in your file!
