Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.

A thoroughly original take on an old classic mode. The composition is great, the roundness of the green rocks in the foreground (But not blurred.) the smoothness of the water in the centre, the texture of the red leaf strewn rock wall in the background and the hint of a larger context in the top left corner. I like darker images so this is right up my alley. At full size plenty of detail despite the darker tones. A great shot.
