You captured the color so well, and the water is an added bonus. I'm not sure what kind of flower this is, sorry Gigi. I'm not real crazy about the frame but that is just my opinion.

The flower itself is grand. Lovely colors, excellent saturation levels, nice contrast and sharply focused. I'm with Tigs on the border, but that's because I stink with borders and get scolded every time I use one. I'm simply passing on the pain and agony that I feel when someone yells at me. It looks like you chopped off the very bottom of the flow...a definite "no-no" in my book.

This is a very large marigold - think they call them giant marigold in the seed catalogs. I like the lighting in this - it brought out the color well without making it look like neon. I'm with the others on the border. It's the inner bright green color that's throwing me off. For framing I recommend the iPiccy free online program - their framing choices are great especially their mirror frame.
