That's a pretty good sized bird for such a little branch but, then again, they do have hollow bones, don't they? It certainly stands out well against the dark green foliage of the background and I really like how the alternating layers of white and brown feathers almost mimics the bundle of spindly branches the bird's resting on. In a large thicket of branches, this bird must be fully camouflaged. The color of the light also looks like it's an evening photo; some of the best shots are those taken in indirect lighting, not washed out by harsh light and deep shadows. High marks for the technical quality and aesthetics in your photo, Gigi.
