"The near stillness recalls what is forgotten, extinct angels." - Georg Trakl -------------- Not one of my best shots. It was too cloudy, the light was off, I tried to adjust it out but couldn't really do what I wanted with it. But I still like it, especially how I framed the stigmas.

A good closeup shot with some nice details of the stigmas. Nice soft colours and good framing job.

I think you did a very good job with it - it reminds of a Georgia O'Keefe.

Wow never thought i'd see octopus tentacles in a plant... Great subject & the framing petals make good composition for it :)

Great original shot.

Beauty is no quality in things themselves. It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them, and each mind perceives a different beauty.

Yes nicely framed, but a bit too bright all around.

Photo Art... and it is really tough to come in so close. I love the angle and the concept. The brightness of the lower petal is probably unavoidable, but I think you escaped clipping on the right. Maybe a chop below, top and just a bit on the right to reduce the size of the lower petal? I dunno, me... but I do know that had this been my shot, I'd have posted it in a New York minute! I think this one is well beyond the current CI index...on your composition and vision.
