They are staggered, singly, from side to side, so obviously something bipedal... a small one. Squirrels leap through snow like this and leave a dotted line. Larger predators leave wider sets with four feet. There's not a lot in the photo for context so it's hard to say just how large those prints are and hard to determine the critter that left them. Also, if these prints are indeed tiny, that also means they're not deep, otherwise we would see long incoming scrapes in the back end of the prints, and that is also why the snow can't be very deep.

An interesting photo of these mysterious snow prints. My guess would be a cat or a dog. The photo could use a little contrast to lighten the glare off the snow or perhaps a little sharpening and noise reduction. Thanks for sharing.
