Nice shot, but you might want to rotate it a bit to level the horizon....

Ownership of land is, at best, a useful human fiction.
I agree about rotating the image. The tree is a good element that gives the image some "bones", but I suggest putting it at a 1/3 point in the image. That's one of those magic spots discussed in the Rules of Composition I find the rules to be easy to follow, and VERY helpful in my image designs.

I am with Regmar as well regarding the composition. While the image gives off the feeling of a hot day, I do find it needs some colour boost as it seems a bit flat. Also I would consider removing the road or path as it tends to distract. Having said that you have the right idea with this and keep shooting and enjoying.
