I have been trying to photograph this cross memorial for two years. I could never get it right. I liked how it turned out, but would like some feedback. Thanks for looking.

I do like this. I like the different shades in the sky, and the sillouette.

Definitely one you can be proud of shooting. Centering the cross is a stroke of genius.

Wow...two years! It was worth the wait because this is a beautiful photo. The silouette and sunlight colors are stunning.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

Definitely worth the wait, the colors of the sky make a perfect background for this silhouette. The traces of planes in the sky are a reminder of our busy lifestyles and the cross is a reminder to take time out of those lifestyles for peace and prayer.

I might be crazy, but try contrasting the sky more. Just wondered how that wound work out. :) But I still like it. :)

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

great colors. I think the blackness at the bottom could have been cropped off to give more of the fabulous sky.

Hello Rich....After 2 years you have certainly captured a wonderful silhouette of the cross....I do enjoy viewing these type of pictures...I have to agree with the above comment about the amount blackness at the botton....If you give it a crop Rich you will really transform your picture, other than that this is a very fine picture....Well done...All the best to you Rich.............................................Mick.

A very good job capturing this scene and a nice atmosphere created by the lighting.
