This is a really nice setting, Rich, but not as effective a composition as it could be. Centering the subject is almost always the least desirable or effective. Had the duck been back towards the right border(about it's own length) the position would have been perfect. There should be about twice as much space available in the direction of travel, as there is to the rear of the subject. This applies to any moving subject, or the direction of a subject's gaze.
