This is a cool picture. Overall, I really like the composition. One suggestion would be to take the picture a little lower, that way the branch wouldn't show at the top right of the tree. But I'm not sure. Either way, this is a great picture.

A nice closeup capture of the birch tree. Good clarity, colours, DOF and textures in your photo. Perhaps a tighter crop on the left and pan to the right for a different composition. Or try a vertical composition to present more of the tree. Good work and thanks for sharing.
