This was taken behind our apartment a few days ago. He/she is resting on the fountain in our lake. You can make it out and get a bit of perspective from my last entry. This shot was taken roughly in middle right portion of the photo. It looks like a line in the panorama. We named him "Snaps!" :)

Oh, what a handsome and cute critter Alex. I have enlarged this photograph in order to see better the grin on its face (think that it was smiling to you), lol.

If You live on the ground floor, I would caution You not to keep the patio door open in this new apartment, Alex. And, I would not swim in this lake - I'd even be cautious about boating on it. You are the world's best at finding these creatures and photographing them.

I haven't seen him for awhile, but virtually all body's of water in Florida have at least one alligator in them. They are like cats, not quite as cuddly but sleep a lot and are reclusive.

Beautiful crocodile, but better I will be glad of the crocodile from a long distance. I like this amphibians, but only when I watch them from afar. Wonderful photography.
