I wanted to post a foof yesterday, but I was so exhausted, I came home showered and went straight to bed around 6pm and woke up at 5:30am feeling a bit refreshed. It was none stop all day yesterday and back breaking. But enough of that, I wanted something a little different. I ran across this photo. I remember my mom talking a little of it. I believe that is my uncle Earl changing the tire with my mom sitting on the luggage and Earl's kids, her Nephews. My grandmother(mom's mother) is far right. This was in Wisconsin? around 1952? I like the candid nature of this shot.

Having old photos with the ability to identify the people depicted therein is great.

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine The Earth without art is just 'eh'.

A really great photo from the 50's Alex. Times were harder but less complicated.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.

So nice to have such photos to remind one how it was although you weren't born then.

A bad luck voyage, Alex.
Excellent, authentic and nostalgic photo. I think, however, that your uncle Earl wouldn't have been happy with these qualifications. He had other things on his mind at the time. A matter of priority, ☺ .

This is far better than a foof, Alex, a memory right out of my childhood (not to mention Ralphie's dad changing a "tire".
