I know what today is but I wanted to do something a bit different. This is a computer I built from scratch back in May, 2001. I drilled all the fan holes, mounted the motherboard and hard drives, and did all the wiring myself. Compared to today, it was a huge hassle trying to get the parts. I had to drive all over town in rush hour traffic to get them. I trashed this case some years ago. I noticed how small the fan and heat sink is for the CPU. A nice yet long day today running millions of errands and paperwork, and tests for surgery Monday.

Alex, thank you for showing us the result of your complex technical 'surgery'. I suppose that your next hernia operation may also be complex, but completely different in nature.

I had to search the word 'foof' :)...My son would have taken this apart and repaired it with no problems...he is a technical wizard on computer's..where'as I still have problems with mobile phones.

Oh yea Alex I remember those days when I built my own computer(s) - my last build consisted of an Asus motherboard - Antec Sonata computer case - Western Digital hard drives - CD Rom player - Creative Soundblaster sound card and most of all Windows 2000 - I loved that build - they finally got it right - very stable!!!!!!! Like the pics of your rig Alex and good luck and a speedy recovery in regard to your surgery - Take Care!!!!!!!!

I had the cover off mine once, but didn't have a clue what I was looking at. I did blow some dust out!
