Alpine winding roads... this road lead all the way to the top, but are only opet from may to october :) Rest of the time, this view is completley WHITE!
WHEEEE.. What fun it must be to drive these.. It sure makes things look small.. What a grand place.. I love those roads.. They look like ribbons tossed across the mountains..
yeah man, it is pretty fun to drive these roads, but after hour or two it makes you kinda sick of all that goin up and down, left and right, left and down ;)
Magnificent view. 10/10 and in favs of course. BTW, Boris, has anybody told you that you happen to have the most beautiful name ? LOL Excuse my joking but if I did not like the name so much I would have never named my beloved doggie boy like that ...[blusing with modesty]
Wow talk about winding...I think I would have to refrain from going there..but this is such a great photo...you were certainly at a great vantage point!!
I believe the second half of one's life is meant to be better than the first half. The first half is finding out how you do it. And the second half is enjoying it....
A wonderful presentation. I agree with Ann. They do look like ribbons strewn across the region especially in the central portion of your photo. Clear all the way. Well done.

I love the clarity in this shot, I almost feel like I am there! Although, I don't know that I would have the nerve to drive there it's looks like one little wrong turn and you'd fall to the bottom. Again, great shot.
brilliant view, 10/10, would love to have a go at driving that pass, I might even have a go at climbing it, looks exciting, where is it? Will have to go there some day. Again brilliant image and thanks for sharing.
Steep mountain scenery is always amazing to me, even though I live in the middle of the Rockie Mountains. One of the funnest experiences I ever had was when a friend of mine came to visit from Texas. She had never seen mountains before, and it was great to watch her expression of awe as we traveled through them.
Great shot of 2 mountain passes coming together.
The road you are on, and what continues at the bottom is the Furka pass, the one climbing up, is the Grimsel pass.
Behind the lake of the Grimselpass the "cradle of glaciers" starts, much studdy is done there. thanks for the view !
