Sigh .... boy howdy...you're right. I gave these up on September 16th, 1997 at 9:30 in the morning. I remember the date because it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do....best thing I ever did for myself, though, and the ashtray I called the world back then. Excellent pictorial message. How many forest fires have been started by these things not to mention health hazards. My husband is dying of emphzema. I won't have him much longer because of smoking. Great post and some nice photography work.

Yes, the whole world's an ashtray to some. Worse things are done by industries and pollution and the destruction of the rainforests and we won't sign the Kyoto Treaty. Why? Because of greed.
