When I was young we visited my grandfather every Sunday and this creek was not far from his farm on the hill. Often in the spring the water would be over the road and we would wade into visit him carrying groceries until the water would recede.

What a beautiful place! I can just imagine playing in that creek! I was born in Germany and my cousin and I had a little pond we would go to, where tadpoles swam...and we could splash around. I never forgot it either. I love you photo here. IT is sharp, and the colours are wonderful. The way the shadows cross over the snow and the water is perfect! I can't even imagine giving you critique on this one because its just gorgeous! By the way, I lived in Oshkosh for about four years when I first came to America...I was ten yrs old then! Kay I want to welcome you to caedes. YOu will love it here. There are helpful people, friends, artists of all kinds. Just enjoy and don't ever be afraid to ask for a suggestion or for help. COngrats on this photo. Looking forward to more!! Verena

Wonderful shot and great memories for myself as well. But at my uncles farm. Excellent qualities in this Kay!

A nice composition and lighting in your shot. I like how the stream leads you into the shot. Nice narrative and a good job.

In order to discover who you are, first learn who everybody else is; you're what's left.

I love the view straight down the creek with snow on both sides. Nice lighting and color, also. Well done, Kay.
