Ya know..

When I first viewed your other creative iteration of this piece, namely; "Imaginary Impressions" .. I was hoping to see it as intended, for one.

And now looking back.. "Imaginary Impressions" was not as out there (on the note of post processing/editing) as I had originally thought.

Not sure why, but, felt somewhat compelled to share the above with you.

I can't conjure up a backstory for this image in my own mind.

But.. I can state that I do like the setting and elements you chose. Gully, ravine in a forest. Late at night. And that of some mysterious "life force". Has The X-Files written all over it.

And on that latter element of the "life force"..

Not sure if it is giving, or taking away from the vine present. Or, for that matter.. if the vine is metamorphosing into something else as a result of contact.

So.. what I guess I am trying to say here is..

Care to flesh out the story some? Time and opportunity permitting?


Suffice to say, and I hope this doesn't sound too trite or redundant (where your work and my comments on are concerned).. your piece here is intriguing.

The colour palette is spot on. And the render is good good with respect to the technical side of things.


And.. but, of course..
