Last posting for now of Tintern Abbey although my journey in the Forest of Dean will continue. I was fascinated by the patterns and perspectives the columns and arches created in this place and could not help but keep snapping. Comments and advice always welcome.

---Last posting for now of Tintern Abbey---

Thanks Rachel, for providing us with this excellent series of Tintern Abbey. It were not only beautiful images, but, from a cultural point of view, very interesting and impressive images as well. You did a very good job!

Regards, Cornelius.

I like this one best of the color series. You've got plenty of green through the windows instead of fighting a bleak sky. I'm sure they were beautiful buildings but they are magical ruins and the floor could never have been as lovely as the carpet of grass.

What do you mean last, I paid for the full tour including lunch.
I like the perspective in this photo. A lovely view through the forest of columns.

Beautiful job. Tell you the truth, we drove by these ruins on our visit to the UK and were headed for Cardiff.
