Similar to my last post but being a geography teacher i cant get enough of the rocks tumbling down the hillside. This is again raw from the camera with no extra editing. I have smoothed some of the noise and cropped about half an inch of sky but other than that it is untouched. I feel this one is a little dark but i deliberately had the camera set to underexpose as i like the concentrated colours and shadows it causes.

Good composition Rachel!...I notice a mild DOF as the there is a softness in the upper rocks..

I love this shot of these rocks against that lovely sky. Its nice to see untouched shots of our natural world about us. Well done!

Nice rock shot, but I want to stand up on top of the rocks and get the view from there. Happy to see that you're back for awhile and posting some glorious shots of a land that is totally foreign to me. Even your rocks look different.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Personally I'm not a big fan of rocks tumbling down a hill, particularly if I'm in front of them. The photo does not seem too dark, I rather like the shadows and lighting in the scene. Good details and textures in the photo and a nice angle in the capture.
