I'm kinda thinkin' that it's kinda kool. I'm likin' the starkness...it's kinda like leaves bein' blown around in a snowstorm...bein' shot straight up in the air by a gust of wind. Maybe even jet-propelled Japanese Maple leaves in a snowstorm! Kinda swell.

I agree with your own diagnosis... it is a bit bright. I like the colors and shapes though. If you ever "play" with this, let me know because I'd love to come back and look at any changes you make!
