First in a long queue eh!............Stunning piccy Randy.....love the butterfly, nice & sharp...the frame seems to too much for such a small subject...although well composed...I would have thought a larger version of the butterfly, could fill the frame better...It dont take nowt away from this though...still a stunner!.........
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

Welcome to the insects world! I must admit you did splendid job, both the photo and the background make great presentation. I believe it is Hamearis lucina.

Very unique image.. i like the frame work... the butterfly is beautiful... lovely colour and lovely detail... i like how it looks as if i'm taking a peek out of a window... nice work
Fabulous macro shot Randy. Unusual framing gives the impression of a spyhole into the natural world. The 'frosting' accentuates the lush green of the foliage. Very nice!
Cheers,
Steve.
